An opportunity has arisen for an outstanding Assistant Group Coordinator to provide complete administrative support to our busy project team at the exciting Battersea project. 

Working amongst a team of dedicated, enthusiastic and creative engineering professionals, this role will see you work at the heart of the team ensuring that all operational support runs smoothly and allows our engineers to work to full capacity. Our ideal candidate will be a confident, proactive self-starter with super communication skills. 

What will I be doing?

Understandably, the responsibilities of our Assistant Group Co-ordinators vary day to day but broadly include:

  • Being an all-round administration linchpin for the team and the main point of contact for all their admin queries
  • General administration support from photocopying and scanning papers to typing, formatting and modifying documents, reports, correspondence and spreadsheets
  • Maintenance of departmental listings, networking in the London office and beyond and signposting for helpful contacts.
  • Using customer relationship management systems to maintain internal databases
  • Distribution of all documents and correspondence within the group (e.g. collation, sorting and distribution of departmental post)
  • Supporting timely project management and resource planning by ensuring that staff timesheets/expenses are submitted promptly and appropriate staff absences and training are recorded.
  • Supporting and inducting new team members, welcoming them and helping them to integrate into the team
  • Coordination of learning and development activities within the group.
  • Coordinate, attend and minute group meetings, as well as organising meetings both internal and external meetings.
  • Assist group co-ordinators with overflow of work and supporting with archiving.

What do I bring?

As an experienced administrator/coordinator with a foundation of experience, we would expect that you would be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent computer and IT skills including; Word, Excel and experience of using spreadsheets and databases.
  • Great communication skills whether written in emails or documents, face to face or via phone
  • A solid foundation of office experience and a proactive approach to your work
