Job Description

Our Riyadh office is one of our most established offices with fabulous opportunities for our people. A requirement has arisen for a HR officer in our Human Resources Consultant to join our team in KSA. 

Providing operational HR expertise for an office approximately 40 staff, your role will see you ensure that the day to day delivery of HR services is of the highest calibre. Your relationship management skills, excellent attention to detail and collaborative style will all serve you well in this role, as will your outgoing, approachable personality. Supporting local leadership teams on all HR matters, you will have the opportunity to expand and grow on your business partnering skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment based in Riyadh, KSA.

Working as part of a wider, close-knit global team, you will also collaborate with our HR generalists and specialists around the world to implement global HR initiatives into your region.

 Please note this role is reserved for KSA Nationals as part of Saudisation requirements.

We are looking for a qualified HR professional with at least 3-5 years’ prior experience, who can be a local driver for HR Operations, Talent, Performance Management, Succession Planning, HR Reporting, Internal Communications, Change Management and Reward.

You will also work closely with the regional Country Manager to align and cascade global HR initiatives and strategy into the region and work closely with other business service teams.

This role will see you provide operational HR expertise to the business group and support the KSA leadership team on all HR matters. Implementing a number of exciting HR initiatives to the country, this is a brilliant opportunity for an established HR advisor to further develop their business partnering skills.

What can I bring to the role?

  • Qualified HR professional – we would expect candidates to have demonstrable experience in an HR advisory role in a commercial setting, preferably an International practice.
  • Good understanding of KSA employment legislation and practices including expat visa processess
  • Experience of providing HR services (transactional and consultation) to a management team.
  • Commercially sound with a thorough understanding of data
  • Excellent command of English
  • Ability to confidently present data, facts and findings for further decision making purpose

Desirable skills

  • Experience of working within the engineering sector or professional services.
  • Experience of utilizing HR data to enhance management understanding and decision making.
  • Previous experience of working for an international company.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills to drive HR initiatives forward from a commercial standpoint
