We are currently recruiting for a Front of House Coordinator in our busy London office. Working in our close-knit Front of House team, you will be the first contact many of our clients and other stakeholders have with BuroHappold both face to face and via phone. 

This role will be offered on a temporary rolling contract basis, initially for 10 months.

What will I be doing? 

  • Create and maintain a welcoming, tidy and professional front of house environment at all times
  • Answering calls in a timely and professional manner, including taking messages and dealing with ad hoc queries/issues.
  • Welcoming guests and contractors to site; making sure they feel welcomed and attended to, and ensuring they adhere to the signing in procedures
  • Ensuring FoH, client areas and cupboards are clear and tidy
  • Liaising with the facilities team on reporting any issues and coordinating maintenance contractors
  • Managing the meeting room bookings for the large meeting rooms/event spaces; including ensuring facilities are booked for meeting room set ups
  • Booking travel
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post, parcels and couriers
  • Maintaining FoH stock levels and ordering supplies as necessary
  • Managing main stationery store; stock checks, ordering, and keeping tidy

What do I bring? 

As an experienced Front of House Coordinator/Receptionist, it is expected that you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Outstanding people skills both face to face and via phone
  • Excellent computer and IT skills including; Outlook, Word, Excel and ideally Lync (though we can offer training too)
  • Good communication skills
  • A proactive approach to work and approachable manner
